Hey Jen, all those people saying that they would take one if they lived closer, well I have a solution to that. Put them on an airplane. I purchased a dog from the midwest somewhere and he travelled on an airplane. It was quite easy. I think it was about 100$. They can pay for that. You could get rid of quite a few that way I bet. Ship them all at once.

Sadly, I only had the dog for 2 weeks, because he drove me crazy. Now we have cats.

And no ugly puppies for us… we already have a Boston Terrier and she is pretty ugly in her own right!

I think they’re cute! I’d consider taking one, but that’s a bunch of extra miles to swing through Minnesota after Michigan just to drop off a puppy… well, if you ever happen to have some extra Yorkies, we’ll take two… and pay for some gas… (We have a mammoth NewFoundland/Husky mix and for some reason my husband really wants a little yippee dog instead of our annoying cats… and he’s fallen in love with a friend’s Yorkie…)

Thanks for your comment. It does seem like Hollywood is doing outreach, doesn’t it? I don’t really mind, so long as they try real hard and don’t mess up a good story. Then again, I’ve hardly ever met a movie adaptation I didn’t prefer as a book!

Those are CUTE puppies, btw. But then I’m a sucker for babies. No, I don’t want one. My husband says I have to say no now. Because even the parking lot at Wal*mart is no longer safer for people like me. So, you are normal, just like me? Aren’t we great? I’m an Army BRAT – are you a BRAT too?

Just put him (or her) on a Greyhound bus and send it on out to California. We are finally leaving the burbs and heading for the Sierra Foothills, and I think a nice shepherd/whatever mix would be just the thing for our new digs… Although, I think the one in the striped shirt is the cutest…are you sure you won’t part with him???
