Can You Can Brain Jelly?

Have you ever had so much activity going on
in and around your house that you could actually feel your brain
gelling into pineapple jam?  Egads, it's been an overly busy week;
I hope it slows down soon.

I hope you all had a swell Mother's Day.  I wasn't expecting
anything at all, but Dippy (my five year old) went to the store with
his Dad and just insisted on bringing me home a 4000 Gallon Jar of
Pickles.  You have never seen such a large jar of pickles.
He must have seen me eat a pickle at some point in time and assumed
that nothing would make me happier for Mother's Day.  And he is
right.  I will cherish that jar of pickles for at least the next
three or four years.  Speaking of Pickles, Amy is having her baby tonight so remember to pray for her and her family.

That is so endearing of your little guy. Hallmark couldn’t have marketed that…yet BOY did it feel better getting that pickle jar…than any old card. I myself got a ‘mom poster’ with a 3-D mom that popped off of the page .(from my DD 6) I felt like a super-hero.

    Hey Jen!

    Busy busy — I understand.

Are you planning to be at BINGO tonight?

If you and Gena are going please call Geanine. She is thinking of cancelling. I can’t be there since I have my ultrasound this afternoon and than errands and dinner with my family.

    Blessings,

    Maria

    Uh, yeah…

We do that for my sister every year for her birthday. Each year the jar has gotten bigger. We’re looking into splitting the cost at a wholesale store this year. Maybe she won’t run out so fast and ask for more…maybe.

What a sweet blessing for you!

    Happy Mother’s Day Jen,

    Traci 🙂

    Pickles…how sweet?

I’ve been out of the blog-ring for a bit and it feels like FOREVER! I enjoyed catching up on your posts! I just love the relationship you and Gena have. I’ll be moving back home and within 30minutes of 2 of my 3 sisters. I’m really hoping that we can grow closer together and have this kind of fun relationship.

I’m right there with you. I don’t know if I’m coming or going this week. It won’t slow down until at least Tuesday, and then that is only a 4 day reprieve.

I love the pickle present. Those are the most special and the ones we remember most. One year Briana gave me a purple Hot Wheels car. It’s still in my shadow box.

    Hope things slow down soon.

Speaking of too much going on, what’s the status of the Blogger Brunch at FPEA? I’ve had “jimmy-brain” ever since my son came into our room to ask me to pray for him because he had a bad dream. So here at 4:17am, I’m wondering: when’s the brunch?

    YES!

Mine is that way now! We are moving – and there is literally so much happening that I can’t keep up with anything – not even the task at hand! I know what you mean! It is unbelievably crazy. Friends keep calling and asking if I’m going to …… fill in the blank – and I feel like I never know what they’re talking about – what they’re doing – or when they’re doing it. Geesh! I hope it gets better for you soon too!

    Pineapple Brain Jelly

That’s about what will be left of my brain by the time we get to Romania on June 9th. I’ve got way way way too much to think about in the next 3 weeks………….. Maybe some pickles would help me.
