Poking out eyeballs

Well, it is my lucky day once again.  Bobo (it's a miracle he's still alive) came THHISSSS close to gouging out his eyeball with his pencil (he punctured the skin just millimeters under his left eyeball).  This is why mothers should NOT allow their kids to do math while doing flips off the bed.  God is mericiful to us.  Our guardian angels must be SOO exhausted.

    Skinning Cats and Poking Eyeballs

That Bobo needs to sit down and take a deep breath. How do you keep track of that whirlwind? Remember when he was two, and he said he wanted to grow up to skin cats?

    Skinning Cats—

Sounds like Bobo and Max would get along perfectly! The other day at speech Max announced to the speech therapist (at the public school no less) that "Mom and I hate cats, they should all be dead." Mind you I've never said that <um…err…at least not that I remember> . It was at that moment that with a chuckle she shared with us that her son had just got a new kitten….aren't boys great–

    Bobo?

Hmmm, I thought Dippy was the one always getting hurt. I am so confused! Anyway, speaking of pencil injuries, in 5th grade, (PS) back in oh, 1970 or so, I got jabbed in the arm with a pencil during that frenzy that went on at the changing of the guard. (You know, when the home room teacher leaves, and the next one comes in) Well, my dear nameless friend was running, with his pencil, and he jabbed it right through my shirt sleeve and broke it off in my little skinny arm! The school nurse couldn't remove it. I had to go to the hospital! I will spare you the gorey details.

And that is one of my more fond memories of 5th grade.

Oh, and I will show you the scar someday~

    Love, Nancy
