Jeneric Jeneralities ~ by JenIG

Geoff the Great has
been busy all week working on all sorts of projects.  Here is one
household item that every family with two year olds  needs:

Just kiddin'.  He actually constructed that for this:

Awwwwwwwwwwww. isn't that cute?  That's our dinner next month.
Just kiddin' again.  Actually, the
Emmiko, pictured above, is turning eleven this week, so she got two
little fluffy bunny rabbits (thanks to our friends, the Austins).
Tomorrow we are taking her out on a special birthday date.  I
really like Emmiko.  She almost died when she was one.
hibbity jibbity, I won't go into it — it stresses me out to think
about it.

I had more things to blog about, but Coie took all my blog ideas and already posted the pictures on them. Take careful note of the Jungle Bomb set up.  It's the best game ever created.  Seriously.

And lastly, I finally found something to do with my tomatoes.
Sort of.  I dried them and bagged them and stuck them in my
freezer.  They will probably stay there for the next 40 years —
but they looked pretty.

And lastly last, I just wanted to thank everybody for the apple
ideas.  You'll be proud to know that I canned several jars of
applesauce and also canned several cans of apple jelly.  I have no
idea how it tastes.  I'm too chicken to try it.
The End

It sounds like you are all keeping extra busy.

    Happy Birthday to sweet Emmiko!

I’m going to go read up on Coies blog to see what else has been going on in your part of TN.

    Blessings,

    Maria

    Hello!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I LOVE yours! What a cute bunny. We have 3 ourselves..and possibly one on the way, as there is a “bunny chase” at the county fair tomorrow night! (Sam can’t wait!) I also can and freeze a lot of things. I’ve only dehydrated tomatoes once–and as you said, they sure looked pretty!

I’d like to add you to my friends list if you don’t mind. :o)

I don’t know how you can keep your spoon out of the applesauce! I have to keep reminding myself that we are canning it for another day.

    That bunny is adorable!

Keep yer maters. To me they are akin to raisins, and not fit for human consumption.

    Good idea drying your tomatoes.

    cute

I love the cage. where can I get one. it would come in handy for my almost 2 year old at times. I love apple jelly. I make pepper jelly with it. just add lots of garlic and pepper to taste. we love lots of both. searve on cream cheese and eat with crackers. yummy!! Visit sometime for a look at homeschooling in the Bahamas.

    Wow.

I am in a comment frenzie today. I think this is my 4th or 5th.

I absolutely love Emmy. She is kind, helpful, cheerful, fun, and all around a great girl. I now have another reason that I love 11 year olds. . . . because Emmy is one!

I am so very glad that you served us the cobbler and not the dried tomatoes. Ew.

Y’all are definitely a talented family– cage building, tomato drying and apple-ing!

I could really use one of those cages right now. Dozer keeps climbing out of his bed at night and then knocking every so cutely on his door…the bad part is that he’s screaming really loud at the same time. I think he finally gave up and fell asleep on the floor. Guess I should go move him now.

So what are you going to do with all those dried maters? Eat em? Or do you reconstitute them later?

    Love,

    Marshie

    Toddler cage… ha ha.

With two toddlers that enjoy mischief, there are some days that I think I could use one of those. *Ü*

And what a cute bunny. My children love it!
