I must say, after hearing how gross you
people are from my last entry, I feel *tons* more normal. You
ladies are nasty. It was heartwarming, to say the least.
Next time Geoff drops his head in his hands and is confounded by my
lack of domestic constancy, I shall point him back to my last post and
show him how lucky he actually is (i'll have to delete the few crazy
abnormal clean freak commenters first). But let's face it, the
Pigs are definitely in the majority. And majority rules.
In other news, it seems we've found Coie's future husband (thanks to Emmiko). Click here to see a picture of him. To hear all of the romantic details, click here
And finally…. thanks to Maria
(who emailed me the news of an incredibly great deal), our life just
got a whole lot easier. I tell you the truth. It is impossible to
keep 10 acres mowed down with a push mower. My daughter Ryann is
in lawn mower heaven.
Here's Geoff, instructing Ryann on the evils of chopping down parents or siblings while on the racing mower
Ryann: “Must I truly wear these goofy glasses and ear bonnets?”
And the people we bought it from were the neatest Christian
homeschooling couple. I wish they lived closer, I really liked
them. So all in all, it's been a pretty good week.

I’m so glad you were able to get this. It looks like a beauty. Don’t forget to cover it up so it doesn’t lose it’s luster and shine. : )
Sami is our lawn girl and she does the best job. We have her wear the ear bonnets but not the glasses. You sure are safety concise!
Blessings,
Maria

Giddy Up!
Don’t you have sheep or goats for lawn maintenance? Cool machine though.
FYI – I’ll plea the 5th Amendment on the whole house cleaning thing—I’d hate to implicate myself by talking too much…no need to give any lurking Social Workers any amunition, right! LOL
About the mutts–will they be sent with exceptional abilities like sheet changing, laundry service, teaching the boys to tee-tee outside…just wondering….

I am so glad
I am so glad that you our slovenliness has helped you find peace with your inner piggie. Glad to both amuse and be of service.
I was actually so inspired I DID wash my sheets. Only to find that, with my bum hands, I couldn’t tug the mattress pad and sheets back ON the bed, and had to call in the Hubby to make the bed at 10 pm … so I learned my lesson, I’m not doing THAT again!
Coie’s Intended is one handsome fellow. But i love most of all that he appeared during a history lesson. LOL!

Count me in…
on the pigs side. I aspire to be a cleanie, but alas, it has not come to pass… so I will just join the piggy club, I suppose!

OK!
I missed the messy comments, but I see the lovely pictures. Hee! Hee! I have messy issues too. I can only keep the family motivated if we have someone come over the house. It really works. Everybody gets into the act. LOL!

Email not going through
Hey Jen,
What you emailed sounds great! Thanks! For some reason my reply won’t go through to you,nor to that sister of yours.
Geoff will need to paint the #3 on the side of your mower. Being near NASCAR, folks will ‘preciate that. (John had to explain to me what that meant.)

great
That lawn mower looks great. Awesome for your dd. I just made two more blog entires. These are much more upbeat. I promise I’m not usually so drury.
There seems to be a lot of bloggers in East Tennessee. You guys make me remember my TN days growing up. We’re going to Nashville for vacation Labor Day week; it will be great to see family and old friends. Too bad I won’t be in East Tennessee.

Wow!
How providential that such a fine looking young man should be presented to Coie! He should be easy to manage and probably won’t mind dirty sheets. Just a nice three ring binder prominently displayed.

S.H.U. — I like it! We just need a logo…would you like a photo of my schoolroom?
Very nice mower. We love ours – when it’s working….

Glad to know that I’m not the only parent that lectures on the evils of lawnmowers.
Or did Geoff just tell you that he told Ryan to keep running blades away from human limbs but he was really telling her how to shift into high speed and how to turn into the curves around the trees?
I think Coie’s future husband quite handsome and dull looking. The dull ones make better money.
