Ok, I have two games from Math Maze for two of you to win. These are neat! I want to know three random things about yourself. I'll go first:
1) My ankles crack when I walk 2) I was baptized in the Jordan River (same river that Jesus was baptized in) 3) One of my big toes doesn't bend.

3 random things
1. I have a scar above my left armpit from emergency shoulder surgery to repair a break in my humerous. I broke it getting dumped by my fav. horse when I was 18.
2. I am totally afraid of mosquitoes – like running away screaming like a baby scared.
3. I can walk up to 8 miles before getting tired (and I’m not skinny!)

1. I have criss cross tan lines on the tops of my feet from the “unique” sandals I wore on our Disney World vacation
2. My eye muscles were weakened when I was a newborn because I was left in an incubator for 3 weeks with my eyes uncovered. Because the muscles are weak, my eyes “vibrate”~it’s not clearly visible most of the time, but when I’m sick or VERY tired, I can actually FEEL them moving.
3. My husband and I went to Disney World on our honeymoon. It was December, and the park was almost empty. We got a PRIVATE meeting with Mickey Mouse, and even got to see his dressing room!!

3 random things about me
1) I’m committed to keeping our family together as my husband travels the country remodeling Wal-Marts.
2) Every time we go to Luby’s, I get liver and onions. It’s the only time I get to eat it.
And, I know it’s weird and everybody hates it.
3) I LOVE Wisconsin! There are beautiful Fir trees in the front/back yard of the house where which we are staying.

1. i really walked to school the first 9 years of my schooling. i did not however, carry my lunch (remember bozo’s questions?). i walked back home for lunch.
2. when i got married i weighed 98 pounds and my uncle preacher who married us told me i couldn’t get married by law unless i was 100 pounds. (he was joking)

Random things about Me…
1. I didn’t have my first child until I was 30, even though I wanted them right away (I was married when I was 26).
2. When I was 19, I asked the Lord how long it would be before I got married and I felt like He told me 7 years. I decided it couldn’t be the Lord speaking because I wanted to get married soon and I knew exactly whom I wanted to marry. 7 years later I married my husband (who, consequently I met a couple of months after praying that prayer, but there wasn’t a spark at that point).
3. My most embarrassing moment was when I ran into my housemate’s bedroom (in my undergarments) to borrow some clothes from her and found her boyfriend standing outside her window talking to her. I still blush just to think about it. My housemates all thought it was hilarious because I was always doing that and they figured that little incident would cure me (it did, at least until I got married).

I'm game…
1. I used to think you got polio by smelling the bad air in bathrooms, so I used to hold my breath every time I went into a bathroom, even at home.
2. In high school some friends and I sat down in the hallway of a youth convention and sang “Little Bunny Fufu.”
3. I married my husband of 23 years after only six months of dating.

here's my try…
Ok this sounds like fun so here goes:
1) anytime I use a q-tip in my right ear it makes me cough.
2) I know how to make a sling shot out of a maple leaf.
3) When I was in 5th grade I was on the math olympiad team and thought I was sooo cool!
Were these supposed to be weird and random or just random? LOL 🙂

1. I won’t get out of bed to an odd number on the alarm clock…
2. Though I now claim Jane Austen as my favorite author, I’ve never actually read one of her books…
3. I have had pink, red (as in crayola red), apple green, black, turquise, and royal blue hair at various times in my ‘wilderness’ days…

Fun!
1.) I have kind of short fingers anyway, but my pinkies are smaller than my 5 year old’s. My family makes serious fun of me for that. My typing stinks and I blame that and not laziness. I should also mention that my third toe is shorter than the rest. I’m a freak I tell ya!
2.) I don’t like the word “slacks.” Can’t we just say “pants” for pete’s sake?
3.) I can’t stand to sleep with my feet under the covers, or with socks on. I pile tons of quilts on– but my feet always stick out. They never hang off the bed though–you never know what might be under there!

1. I sang a solo in 5th grade and a ‘rocker’ boy with long blonde hair kept referring to me as Pat Benatar. While I had NO idea who ‘she’ was.
2. On my 18th birthday my husband to be took me to an ice-cream parlor where they used a HUGE drum to announce it was someones birthday, along with sirens and a huge hat. I CRIED so he wouldn’t tell them it was my birthday. wuss.
3. My beloved grandma was disabled and unable to get around, so at lunch time she would send my cousins and I next door to get burgers and fries…..funny thing is…..it wasn’t a restaurant….it was a TAVERN. (we knocked on their side door and they gave us our illegal booty)

Random three…
This is harder than it appears, but hear goes nothing…
1. I’ve always had a secret wish to act in the theater or do commercials
2. I’ll spend a few extra minutes using the little girls’ room just to get in a few more pages of my current book I’m reading.
3. I would love to be brave enough to throw off all structure of education and just go with the flow, but I am too much of a chicken to go through with it.

What fun!
1. I like my coffee with creamer and 4-6 packets of sugar. A little coffee with my sugar, please!
2. I grew up speaking Korean and English, studied Spanish in high school and studied Russian in college. The only thing that really stuck was the English (hooray!) and a little Espanol. Donde esta el cuarto de bano?
3. I’m double jointed in my arms. You can twist my arm all the way around and it doesn’t hurt a bit. I’ll show you the next time I visit. 🙂

Haven't entered a contest in a while…
1. I’m still sitting at the computer at 2:11am because my beloved is at a sleepover with my dad and I don’t like to go to bed alone.
2. I don’t like the smell of someone (or myself) after they’ve been outside in the country fresh air.
3. I’m secretly hoping that I will start going gray so that I can dye my hair. (I used to dye it and grew it all out for my now husband, then boyfriend and promised I wouldn’t dye it again until I started going gray.) WHAT?!?!?

1. I enjoy watching movies that make me cry.
2. Walking in the mountains rejuvenates me…I feel at peace there and close to God and the beauty he created for us to enjoy.
3. I love putting together jigsaw puzzles.
I haven’t been able to visit blogs lately, but now that the chaos of summer is over, things are slowing down and I am making a point to visit five friends a day. I was tickled to run across your contest.

(3) While in Israel I received two “awards” from my travel group….I was voted the one most likely to ask a question, and the one most likely to have to go to the bathroom.

hmmm…..
this is kinda hard. I don’t want to scare people away from me! But I will give it a go!
1.I crack my neck more times than I can count a day.
2.I have been to like 8 births.
3.I have a beauty mark on my face that I absolutely luv. A couple weeks ago, I had a sore on it and it scabbed and when the scab fell off I thought my beautiful beauty mark was gone and I cried and cried and then had my mom pray that it would come back and I am as good as I was before. It is still there! Hallelujah!
There you have it. I hope that everyone that reads this will still come to my blog and not think me a weirdo or anything!

Odd, Odd Me
1. I can pop the bones on the right side of my right ankle at will. Can’t do it on my left. My poor son #2 inherited this wonderful talent from me. I used to annoy people with my popping noises in the tiny Baptist church I went to as a child. During the sermon, of course.
2. I am double-jointed in all of my fingers, except one. Used to be in that one, too (my right pinkie), until I broke it trying to catch my muddy cocker spaniel as he bounded obnoxiously across our freshly cleaned carpets. My son has also inherited this wonderful talent of bending his fingers in strange directions. We’ve grossed out too many people to count.
3. I once met Russ Taff at a Christian bookstore. I was twelve. I could always talk fairly intelligently, until I met him. Blathered like a total idiot, I did. He was, after all the first famous person I’d met.

My 3 random things
1) I can bend the very tip of both my pointer fingers and keep the rest of the finger straight (I can do it with my big toes too and my thumbs can pop in and out).
2) I have a green left eye and a brown right.
3) I can wiggle my ears.

Three random things…
1. I harbor a secret desire to be famous (popular). Chonda Pierce told me I wouldn’t like very much though…
2. I had my youngest baby via c-section against my will. She was breech and simply would not turn. Her daddy said it was because she wanted to stay close to my heart. That was sweet, but it still hurt like…really badly….to have her *evacuated.*
3. I give my boys and hubby haircuts at home but never went to school for that. I was in fact a psychology major. hmmm.

1. I was so lethargic as a child that they tested me for anemia. Found out I wasn’t anemic…just lazy.

Fun Idea
My husband and I…….
1. My husband and I went to 1st grade – 12th grade together, went to the Senior Ball together….but with different dates.
2. My husband and I lived in the same house growing up (but not at the same time). The house his grandfather built and lived in for 20 years, my grandfather ended up living in for 20 years and dying there too at the age of 90….but again, not at the same time!
3. My husband and I had no romantic relationship until we were re-acquainted at our 10 year high school reunion. We returned to our 20 year reunion married with 4 kids. Last month we went to our 30th reunion: after being great friends for over 42 years, we just celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary 2 weeks ago.
ALSO…..Just wanted to let you know, I’m hosting the Recipe Carnival on HSB at Trinity Prep School this week.

Here they are: 1. I also have one big toe that won’t bend which I dislocated in high school and the hospital didn’t fix right. OW!
2. I am scared that a sandwich will get thrown at me on Lot Airlines which I read in all the bad reviews they had. I am going to Poland with my mom for two weeks next Sunday.

1. I now know what it looks like when my sons have chiggers and I’m NOT happy about it.
2. I’m 36 and have no gray hairs and actually keep looking hopefully for them. Like it might be a sign of maturity or something.

Oh, man I missed it
