Jeneric Jeneralities ~ by JenIG

Thanks MarshieWiggle (does anybody get that?) for filling in for me.  And you’re right, the whole GA boiled peanut thing is a total mystery to me.   Those crazy Georgianics.

Speaking of crazy, I finally found something that helps with Mad Cow Disease (otherwise known as PMS).  I started taking this stuffand I don’t know why or how, but it helps. Big time.   Except when I don’t take it… then all bets are off the table. Heh heh.  And no I don’t work for them or get any sort of kick back for saying this.

Yesterday we finally got back into the swing of things.  It is now downright *cold* in the mornings.  I love it!  When were freezing during school so we all alternated running in place and River Dancing for almost twenty minutes.  I don’t know if you can actually call what we were doing ‘Riverdancing’, but it was fun and when we were done nobody was cold anymore  It looked sort of like this:  except without any of the coordination that this kid accidentally fell into.

Surprisingly, my non-rhythm no-groove daughter, Coie has some promising potential.  If she put her mind to it, she could become a professional RiverDancer some day.  I’ll have to see if I can manage to secretly tape our next session.

    Welcome back, Jen!

In case you were ever wondering what my secret was to being the super mom that I am, it is Beeyoutiful’s SuperMom Vitamins. You know that’s a pic of me on the bottle don’t ya? 😀

    Love,

That’s so funny – my MOM used to say that “home again jiggity jig” thing too! In fact, I think she still does. All right – I’m checking out those vitamins – I saw them advertised in the mag. Oh, and thanks for your kind comments about my celebrity look-alikes. I always knew you were whacked (but I can appreciate a crazy delusional as much as the next guy…).Ü Glad you’re back from Georgia – we missed ya! (Boiled peanuts: little slimy beans – yuk)

Oh what fun the Igs have. Make sure you get that video. I would love to see what Ig Riverdance is like. Maybe that type of dancing would help get me in labor. You think I should try it?

    Have a wonderful weekend!

ROFL!…Mad Cow Disease…so THAT’S what’s been wrong with me for the last umpteen-million years! ;-D Sad thing is, we have some EPO in the pantry. I’ll use it next time I need it. Or maybe I’ll just start taking it all the time.

Yes, I get the Marshie Wiggle comment. We’ve been through those books several times as a family — I love poor Puddleglum.

Glad you had a safe trip!

well the dancing sounds like fun but i do hope you have heat. you’re not in california anymore. you have to have heat! not just dancing.

i am so excited that you might come to arkansas. that would be so much fun! i’m a part of a small group in monticello. i’m thinking ya’ll might be aiming for a more populated area like little rock, but maybe not. you are so welcome to come to my house and eat or whatever.

    Q. Who played Puddleglum in the BBC adaptation of “The Silver Chair”?

    A. Tom Baker, best known for playing “The Fourth Doctor,” the most popular and longest running of all the actors who played the lead role in “Dr. Who.” (further proof of my previously-established dorkiness.)

You can add the Oreos to the pizza and the chocolate house you already promised, in the event that we can ever make it down to East TN!!!!!

BTW, speaking of dorkiness, do you Iguarez people watch “LOST”? Deb and I discovered that this summer on DVD. What an amazing show.

Mr. Cleveland, you never let me down Not only do you know the answers to all of my questions, generally you know more about the question than the questioner. Yes, add the Oreos to your tab. and yes, while we do not have a TV, we did rent LOST It is very interesting — i just wish they’d leave out the smut. we already watched both seasons on dvd.

Hats off to you too, JustGiveMeStarbucks! you bloggers know everything!

    I don't get it!

    What’s a Puddleglum???

I have the BBC’s version of The Silver Chair…but still don’t know what you’re talking about. Oh and the advanced animation in it totally cracks me up! Weird how my kids didn’t seem to notice, though.

I think I’m going to go drown my ignorant sorrows in a glass of milk and a giganto piece of pecan pie. (pronounced pecAhn). I know, it’s a wild and crazy thing to do on a Saturday night.

It’s always good to get home again! We got back last night from the real live place of Transylvania. I was going to post pictures tonight but flickr won’t cooperate. So maybe tomorrow.

Don’t feel badly about not knowing about Transylvania. I didn’t know it was a real place either until we first came here 10 years ago. Dracula- he was real too!

Thanks for the tip on the evening primrose….I hope it comes in a skin patch and IV form, as well as pills. I think a 3 prong dosage would work best for me.

Accidently fell into his coordination? Yeah, don’t you wish?

Oh my goodness! How dare you use the term “boiled peanuts” in vain. Them thangs are in Mississippi, too, were I done growed up. They be the bestest thing since cornbread. Better, actually. In fact, when I’m down south way, I snatch me some whenever possible. They sell green peanuts in the store, and you buy them by the POUNDS, bring them home, puttem in the pressure cooker, salt them thangs, and eat them by the mug full. Oh, my. Makes me drool. I’ve missed them the last couple of years. I tend to be a little leary of buying them on the side of the road! Especially as you get further north. They don’t cook the crunch of them!

Okay! THis is disgusting. I just got finished reading all of your comments. WHAT IS wrong with you people. You just didn’t have the right person cooking your peanuts. Don’t you cook beans? They’re mushy. Don’t you cook rice? It’s mushy. Unbelieveable. Umph! I think I’m insulted!

    Hey Jen…

I was wondering about the evening primrose oil: Does it help you sleep better? Since I’m starting to struggle again with onset insomnia and anxiety symptoms that I know are hormonally caused, I’m curious.
