Gingersnap Ice Cream
After lunch I was boiling hot (I made chicken soup and it honestly made me break out in a sweat), so the only reasonable thing to do after that was to eat ice cream. And since I've been making crate loads of very spicy gingersnaps, I took a handful and crumbled them on top. Holy moses it was good.
Anyways, check this out…. HomeschoolBuy is up and running now, so I listed Emmiko's 'Back Then' dress, which she unfortunately outgrew. You can see it HERE. If you haven't registered for HomeschoolBuy.com, you ought! It is just getting started but I think once it gets sufficiently seeded it will be a great place to buy and sell…. so if you have something to sell, go list it! and then let me know so I can browse. |

Hi Jen, I just wanted to let you know how much your editorial in the summer issue meant to me. I re-read it several times a week. We’re having a tough time with our 13 yr old son. We honestly don’t know what to do anymore other than pray and hope our happy guy will be back someday soon.

Gingersnaps on ice cream sounds positively scrumptious! I just love gingersnaps…it sure would be nice to get some in the mail…especially special ones from Tennessee…
Too bad about the dress getting small! It is sooo pretty! So I guess it will not be worn to the barn dance? Will there be an Igarashi family costume/theme?
Thanks for the reminder to sign up at HomeschoolBuy– I looked at the site earlier but didn’t think to register.
Love,
Marshie

I just bid on your dress at Homeschool Buy!! Don’t have any kids that it will fit, so I’ll keep it for my future grandchildren.

Hi, just to let you know I have plugged the HomeschoolBuy site on my blog, not that I get that many readers anyway but I am trying. Since it is late right now I will do my registering on it tomorrow. My daughter and I have some things we might end up listing too. Blessings.

Great idea
Hey,
I really like that ideao of the homeschoolbuy page! I think it’s neat. Only thing is, us Canadians are at a disadvantage with having to convert our money to U.S. funds….but hey, if we list the bid in Canadian, it makes us look like we can spend more!

Emmiko’s dress is adorable! Looks like it’s a popular item to bid on, too. Could be all the advertising it’s getting. 😉
Homemade gingersnaps sound scrumptious, especially sprinkled on ice cream. You sure know how to live good!
