And The Winners Are….
There are three types of people in this world: 1) People who can count 2) People who can't
In a previous post I said I'd pick three people to win a two year subscription to The Old Schoolhouse Magazine plus $300 worth of curriculum from 19 different companies.
It was all a hoax. Just kidding. Without further more ado (whatever that means) Here are my three winners:
hippiechyck (even tho she doesn't want to win– surely you know SOMEBODY who could use this, hippie!)
MaggieHogan (send it to one of the billion people you know)
CAgirlwithasoutherndrawl (annemarie, you're gonna have to come over here and pick it up, I aint mailing it down the street to you) jewls2texas (you are one weird lady my friend….)
Dalyn …my disco sistah
so if you are one of the people listed above, email me at JenIG@TheHomeschoolMagazine.com and send me the address (and name) you want this sent to. And um, er, let's not tell Gena about the number of freebies that I'm actually sending out. er, she's a very very busy publisher. um, i told her and everything, sort of, but uh… mums the word.
love, Jenefer Igarashi |

Yipee!!!!
When I finish my Happy Dance (in about 7 days) I will run right over and get it! Say, if I do the happy dance for a week that's should result in a totally awesome weight loss. Rock on! um… Dance on!
one more funny (this one is about Mark, which, given his serious personality, makes it all the more funny)
Ya know when you know a second launguage how it will sort of creep into your first language? For example "Get over here muy pronto!". After we were married I would do that, which Mark loved ('cuz he is in no way bilinguel! He knows one phrase that he asked me to teach him "Mi mujer es caliente"). One that I used a lot was por favor. About 4 years and 2 kids later, my son Andrew asked what it meant. When I told him, I noticed Mark's look of intense disappointment. He said "I thought it was Spanish for ________ "(a term of endearment you would use with your hubby only)
He he he! All those years! I am still laughing…

Wow!!!
I'm astounded! I really am. And so grateful. Beth loaned me a couple of hers and I was wanting my own subscription but right now we are poorer than church mice with my husband going to school full time. Father sure does bless, though!
Hey, Gena, she's an awful nice Scalliwag, and so funny, too! You better be nice to her or we'll tell your mommy! LOL! Besides she just can't count. ; )
Love and shalom,
Serena

People who can count….

Jen – I knew the similarities were more than superficial – that is one of my all-time favorite expressions. I use it all the time (and have for years). You crack me up. Looking forward to seeing you all in November!
