Oh Hallelujia
If I spelled Hallelujia wrong, don't tell me. i'll only forget immediately. Anyhow, I'm breaking tradition and posting TWICE in one day because I am SOOOOOOOOO happyish. Why? Well, I shall tell you. It is RAINING! And it is almost very barely practically almost chilly. There is hope for a real live FALL in Tennessee after all!! I was beginning to become doubtful. But now, what an upper. Now if only my husband were here….. he claims he'll be leaving CA this Saturday, thus making it a whole month that I've seen him. But I shant complain; no, I will be thrilled that he is coming soon and I'll even make sure the house is clean. I might even put on some lipstick and wear something other than jammies to greet him. Actually, if i do that, he may not recognize me. I'll have to give that one some thought. |

I know! Isn't the rain LOVELY!!! Being from Maine, I don't mind that its been hot. Every day that it stays relatively nice out we say–hey, this so much better than Maine, isn't it? One of my boys was actually moaning about not having been outside today. I laughed and said you can't expect EVERY day to be perfect here! LOL Only thing is, dh will have to mow the lawn again!

Hi Jen!
I've been enjoying the rain over here in Kingsport today too!! I sat out on a friend's porch just relishing the coolness and pitter-pattering sounds it made, and the quitness it always brings to my soul. I was watching Tabitha have her riding lesson – in the rain. Yeah, it seems that the colors were much brighter this time last year, but October's the most beautiful, so there's still hopes for a lovely Fall yet. We're just hoping for more snow this year! The locals here said that the past few years have been unusually mild (but we did at least get to build our first TN snowman, complete with cowboy hat!), so we should be due for a good snow-ful winter, we hope! I'm glad to hear that your hubby will be home soon. Yeah, ya oughta go ahead and get dressed, but the lipstick would probably just get in the way of all the smoochin' (so I've been told by my hubby anyways, who prefers I leave it off)! LOL!;-)

It sure has been a warm fall here in the south. And after all my complaining about no AC in Romania, I'm freezing in all the air conditioned places here. I need to dig out a sweater in all this hot weather!

I love this area…
because we get long springs and long autumns which are my favorite seasons of the year. I've either lived where it seemed like eternal winter or where it seemed like eternal summer, so this part of the country is soooo wonderful! I know you will love the fall here, it is soooo pretty. I'm so excited we get to meet you tomorrow – pajamas or not. ; )
Talking about billy bob teeth. A friend of mine had to go to the dentist recently. While he was turned she slipped some on and when he turned around he about died laughing. It sure made that dental visit go better!
We are actually supposed to get down in the 40's here on Thursday night. Now that is just wonderful and 2 days of 70's. Yep, that ol' autumn weather is a-coming!

Glad you're enjoying the change of season
and I don't know if you spelled Hallelluia wrong or not (some homeschool Mom I am!). I have enjoyed the warmer than usual Sept. we had here in NH and I really dislike the worst of winter. Yet the change of seasons is very nice I must admit. Glad to "catch" a bit of your enthusiasm.
Well since you are a humorous gal, from what I've read so far I will add this comment without too much worry over appropriateness. I don't think your hubby will mind WHAT you're wearing after a month apart <G>. Happy reunion with DH and Happy Fall!

Just wear a smile? um. no. I don't want to punish the poor man. That would make for a very unpleasant homecoming. Plus, it would cause poor Coie to need electro-shock therapy for the rest of her life. I could just see them pulling up after their long three day drive and bumbling thru to door to find me, in all my natural glory, sitting at the table. Oh my heavens, I just made myself laugh out loud.

Well, I got to meet Jen today…
and she is beautiful with a beautiful smile! I’m sure that will be what her husband notices when he returns home no matter what she is wearing. I’m sure her children would think it strange if she was wearing nothing when he returns! I’m sure he would be happy if she did that later when they weren’t around. We had a marvelous time visiting with both Jen and Gena and hope to repeat it in the future. Our time just was too short. It is awesome to see what our Father is doing! Jen, I think there are several spellings for HalleluYah so I wouldn’t worry about it. Yours got the idea across. I don’t think anyone really knows how to effectively translate it into English so that is why there are several spellings.
Love and shalom,
Serena

Hi Jen! Just found your blog today. Very inspirational. I have a few questions. In your bio you mentioned wanting to move from Ca to the Carolinas, but probably Michigan. Then in a recent blog entry you mention moving to Tennessee. What were some factors in choosing a relocation spot? How did you go about relocating with housing and employment? Ok enough questions, back to random blogging. Thanks for your efforts with such a great magazine!
