Happy Father's Day!

Holy Mozers, what a weekend.  Geoff and the big boys were off camping with Mr. Burgraff’s Father/Son group for the weekend.  So while they were gone, us fairer, gentler Igs busted out the power tools and turned the house around for a big early Father’s Day surprise for Geoff the Great.

Coie did a more than thorough job on her blog pg explaining and photographing the tremendous feat we accomplished (complete with a hideous picture of me), so I won’t retell it.

Instead, I will tell you this: my favorite part of the project was finding 16 Ig Pics to fill two separate artsy picture frames, which now adorn our newly un-uglyfied walls.  Since Coie did all the other splainin’ of what we did, I will simply share the pictures that we framed

We filled the eight open spots in the first frame with the following:

And then we filled the second frame with these (I like these far better)

That pretty much sums us up in eight frames.

And lastly, I found this picture of me and coie a few months back.  One of my favorite things about my 18 year old is that she’s not too big to still snuggle with the mama

I love my family!

    Just Catching up with you…

You do have a wonderful family girl! What great pics. I love the silly ones the best too. We enjoyed having your Sis and her Hubby here in Charleston the other weekend. Your family is being obedient to what the Lord has called you to, and many many families are being blessed as a result. Keep dreaming big dreams and believing for the impossible…I know He'll give you the desires of your heart because you've been faithful with what He's entrusted to your care. And it is your faith in Him that truly overcomes the world! (1 John 5:3-5) Thanks for sharing your life and your family with us. :0)

I *LOVE* reading your and Coie's blogs!!!!! I always know I'm either gonna cry, laugh (usually very loudly), or realize I need to change something about myself…you two are truly enlightening!!!

The first frame pictures are lovely…but I'll admit too that the second set of pictures is priceless…yes, I giggled, and giggled while looking at them!

    The Igarashi's are Blessed indeed!!!!!!

I love your family, too!! I love my own as well and am glad to have them home from the retreat, but, alas, without the project/work done which your amazing family has completed! I now go to Coie's to see.. the work.:)

You made me smile through your whole entire post.

And (don't tell my mom, friends or anyone else)… made me actually wish I had a daughter.

    Your Title Skeered Me

I had to go look at the calendar and make sure I hadn't missed something important.

Fun to see your pictures and hear how you enjoyed working together.

That picture of your boy posing? It just reminded me of every genuine 'boy' that I've ever known. Just posing and looking tough yet so cute that us mama's just wanna squeeze them.

    Great pics.

I like all your iggie pictures. You have a beautiful family.

I love the picture of Emmi… she looks like a Elven Maiden! ; )

And also, we have started a Carnival of Homesteading and I was wondering if you would submit your greenhouse building post. I know everyong (if they don't already) would love to see that. It was simply brilliant!

if I leave a comment on EVERY post, does that make me more noticed by you?

    your popularity is astounding

sarcasm aside, your second batch of pictures was a great slice of IG life that keeps me missing the Utopia of Tennessee … and helps me life vicariously.

Kristina, if you would just MOVE down here then you wouldn't have to live vicariously — you could live your own happy little hillbilly life and come over everyday and watch my garden grow. Want me to start looking for a fire house for you to move in to?

    Awesome pictures!

The last one is my favorite as I can relate.

My dd is 17 and still cuddles.

    I hope it never stops.

These pics are so totally awesome. (Said in my very best Crush immitation, of course.) :+)

I really loved them. Thanks for posting so that your FAR AWAY, LONG LOST, LEFT BEHIND friends in CA can see you and your CHILDREN who are GROWING UP without US.

Not that I am holding any grudges or anything…

    Rejoicing with you, of course,

OK, Kristina said the "Utopia of Tennessee"

That is TOO much for this late night mama to handle without absolutely laughing out loud. alsdkjfas;ldfkjasdfl

AWESOME statement of mockery. I must use it. :+)

    I LOVE YOU!!

    Envying your Utopia,
