What Halloween Means To Me

….er, nothing actually.  So nobody got my Fwuffy Puffs reference.  Karen W made a valiant attempt at it, but alas, she was incorrect.  Here is another hint: Marzipan.
You'll only know if you know.

We enjoyed roasted marshmellows again for dinner, only because it is
important to keep family traditions alive.  From henceforth all
Igs everywhere shall eateth anything marshed for thine dinner. And now,
this is very delayed, but several weeks ago, my son BubsIG
wrote a story and asked if I would 'publish it' on my blog page.
So publish it I shall.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do:

Once upon a time there wass a princes
whous name wass princes jeny.  She wass the most buitfeul lady in
the world.  but she wass locked in a tower at the top of the
castle by a man named jaderill and from a dragen named darkled.  A
man named Joeff kiled gaderill and darkled.  Joeff maryed jeny.
and lived haple ever. The end. BoBo

Upon observation you'll see that he inherited my spelling, syntax and punctuation.  I am *very* proud of my clever boy.

And what a cutie he is, too!

You should be proud. Such a unique writing style y’all have. He’ll go places, that kid. If not in writing, he looks mighty strong and like a fast runner.

What a great story! Well, I guess I don’t have a clue about fwuffy puffs. Marzipan – doesn’t that have something to do with cake icing? The stuff that comes out really smooth? Or maybe it’s for candy. Something sweet anyway. I wouldn’t recommend eating it with smores!

He looks like such a character! And what a sweet story! 🙂 You must be a very proud momsie.

As far as Fwuffy Puffs, what in the world would they have to do with almond paste turned into flowers, fruit and other fine confections?

I think you’re making all this up. It must be your vivid imagination induced from weeks of inhaling the toxic vapors from your yard…or perhaps you got conked in the head when the cabinets fell…either way, quit messing with MY head by asking questions that I don’t know the answers to! It’s aggravating like when you can’t quite name ALL the Von Trapp children…it bugs you and bugs you and bugs you until you figure it out…

That boy is a genious! And darn good lookin’ too. I thought he was my youngest for a minute- they look alike. That’s why I said he’s good lookin’. My boy is a golden prince! I love blond hair with olive skin. Too perty!

Tell him he wrote a very good story- the homeschool community at large is very proud. We should all be grateful whenever any boy writes anything! (they usually despise writing!)

Love it! What a cutie-pie. And I mean that in the most absolutely most masculine cutie-pie sense. I know how these boys are about the word cute. Have a great day!

    Cute Story

And nice “Bowser” pose…maybe I can stump you too. Hath thou any rememberance of Bowser? I don’t think he cared for anything Fwuffy or Puffy. Did the damsell in “disdress” or (dat dress) or any dress for that matter let down her long tresses for the great joeff geoff to ascend?

    You absolutely must

Consider Rebekah when Spunky Jr. backs out of the wedding plans. Or you could just nulify the contract because if you pick Rebekah you get to keep BoBo longer.

Oh right, shop talk about welding is “total lame-ness” but 19 posts discoursing on “fwuffy puffs” qualifies as engaging repartee ….. men and women — one planet, two worlds. Next time you’re driving down the road in a car that doesn’t like totally fall apart when you hit a bump, THANK A WELDER!!!

And speaking of guy bloggers… be warned, ladies — THE HOMESCHOOL TESTOSTERONE ALLIANCE IS COMING!!!!

    Hmm….Could those little fwuffies be….

Macaroons? There like the only thing in my ol’Betty Crocker that uses that light brown roll they call”paste”.The one I bought musta been waaaay past its shelf-life; it was like a club it was so hard! And it wasn’t even reduced for quick sale! So here I am, the Julia Child in me shining, GRATING the marzipan roll; using shreds in my recipe. I read later (like today when I researched on the subject) that the warmth of your hands is supposed to soften the roll. Oh well. After gnawing on it for dessert a few times I had to wing it. Bye!
