Why I Am So Spiritual and stuff

Presently, I'm totally not happy nor glad
nor any other word that means happy.  And it has nothing to do
with Magical Goats or Musicals.  I'm entirely bothered because I
cannot sleep.  At all.  Doesn't matter that I'd dead
tired.  It is 2:30 in the morning, and chances are that when I do
finally start drooling all over my pillow in a contented slumber, it
will occur 30 minutes before King James wakes up and starts roaming
around looking for metal objects to stick into electrical
outlets.  Yep, I can just kiss any sort of sun shiney happy go
lucky day away.  I am *not* a very good non-sleeped person.
I think I cannot sleep because I am anxious.  But I have nothing
to be anxious about. Which gets me thinking… that must make me
uber-spiritual because in Phillipians Paul clearly gives the directive
to be Anxious for Nothing.  And I *am* totally being Anxious: For
Nothing.  Yep, how do you like that?

Ryann is
talking in her sleep.  Wow; that girl is loud.  Anyways, I
guess I'll just go back to bed and get back to my not sleeping.
Hope you have a splendid day.

PS have you been checking the company couch
page?  I keep seeing you guys in there.  I bet you don't even
know when you get put up there.  You should go see if you're in
there. I always get all excited when I see my friends featured and
there are a bunch of you in there right now.

I hope you got enough sleep.

I have trouble staying a sleep sometimes. I fall a sleep fine than wake up after 2 or 3 and can’t fall back to sleep. I was told it is menopause but I refuse to think that’s it. Surely that is not your problem.. your just a youngin !

I hope you got some sleep eventually. Calcium really works for me, if I find myself there. I pop one or two calcium tablets/pills, and it takes about half an hour and I find myself heading to lala land. I guess the old saying — a warm cup of milk before bed —

Thanks for stopping in at my blog.

    Sorry…

I don’t know who wrote that about counting poison ivy leaves…. that just wasn’t very nice, was it.

Hope you got some sleep. I finally quit coughing enough to doze off for a few hours. I’ve been coughing so much, i think I’m going to have to invest in some depends! KWIM?

    Welcome to the no-sleep club…

    It’s hormones.

Maybe you should try out that sleep herbal potion that was published in your last magazine. If you do try it, let me know if it works and whether I should spend the time on it.

Momsie, I had the same problem last night– until I sprayed my pillow with lavender spray…It really does work!

Maybe you can’t sleep because you’re over-tired…you know, like the way babies get… You may do better if you give yourself a bedtime routine as well…include a hot cup of chamomile or SleepyTime Tea and some reading before bed.

We’re sniffling and coughing here too…I don’t know why y’all got your Tennessee-germies on me…

I hope you start sleeping soon. I know exactly what you are dealing with. I have dealt with insomnia and anxiety a LOT in my life. Praying for a night of sweet sleep for you!

Jen are you preggers? The my first symptom is the inability to sleep.

Hippy Chick – I’m glad you checked the couch. Keep checking you may be there when you least expect it.

If you’re not pregnant then maybe it’s MENTAL pause.

This is not the administrator, but the administrator's wife.

I think Spunky is full of her spunk today. Quite the commenter she is says I.

Are you pregnant? Are you sleeping with lavender or ivy leaves?

I think you ought to recite the alphabet backwards or discuss with Miguel Chong all the funny names you could call me. Bring back memories?

    Cannot sleep

I had to check out your blog after picking up the last edition of TOS magazine (only my second ever). I’m so glad to know that ‘being anxious for nothing’ is a sign of spirituality! 🙂

Seriously, your posts, especially the one where you shared about your years of hardship, have really been a blessing to me. My family has had some pretty severe struggles over the last few years and I have to totally agree with you that our relationship with the Lord is what becomes most important.

And I knew it …cuz a little birdie flew bye my blog and told me…but I check it regularly! There’s too much kewl stuff going on over there to NOT check it.

And Jen…you are spiritual, honey! AND funny! Both are a gift…and thank you for sharing it with us all!

    Uber?!

OOOOOOOOO Jen, I’m sooooooooooooo impressed… I mean, “uber”?! That’s like a $10 word… maybe more… you’re so uberwise, and I’m uberly jealous of your uberspiritually, and uber-uber vocabulary usage. The only thing that I can console myself with is… I’m ubersexual… tee hee… so how ’bout that pregnancy test?

    Love your uberfriend,

    Amy

I have a certain six year old that has trouble sleeping because he “just can’t shut my brain off. How much distance is there between Jupiter and Saturn anyways?”, I could send him to keep you company during these nights. Wouldn’t help you sleep, but it would keep you company and I would get some sleep!
