Oh heavens I’m a tardy blogger, which, if you remember my New Year resolution, is precisely what I’m shooting for.
I know it doesn’t make any sense, but when it hits about January 5th I mentally believe it’s spring – or that it should be spring. I know spring doesn’t start in January, but somehow I’m wired to think it will. Maybe that’s because I lived in Cali for so many years. Just look how many times I put the word spring into that one little paragraph.
In other news, thanks to my brilliantly sublime friend (who was able to put this on YouTube for me), here, for your viewing pleasure is the family video that my daughter, Ryann, single-handedly put together to sum up our 2008 year. She is a talented girl. . |

Spring? What’s that? it’s 20 below here today- and it’s not even Feb yet (when we normally see these ungodly temperatures). Sick. I’m SO glad we’re going to be THERE for half of our “cold month”.

Holy Moly! I had no idea it was over five minutes.
Technically, I didn’t do it “single-handedly”. I use my right hand for the mouse and my left for the keyboard, and you know I can’t do ANYTHING without the keyboard (it’s almost like my right hand).
Okay, I’m off to the Dentist for my…left arm.

Fun video! You should post videos of your fam more often! It is fun to catch a glimpse of everyone’s personality in a way that can’t be captured by a still photo. You are a fun bunch!

How great to see the whole family…since I never can seem to clear the calendar to get up there to meet the crew in person. (((blush)))
I recognized the Chevy’s pic. I think there is a strong possibility that I took that picture. I could be wrong though. We were pretty hopped up on a couple gallons of salsa coupled with very little sleep.

Nope, Phylis, that was a waitress. It was from the first time we went right when we got to FL. We were so happy we almost cried and the waitress thought we had *issues*.

And I can relate to the Spring in January comment. I actually planted vegetables earlier this week. Foolish? Maybe. But it was awesome to be outside playing in the dirt!
