Jeneric Jeneralities ~ by JenIG

Ok, so this is a little odd.  Monday I decided to move to Hohenwald, and then Tuesday Gena
decided she didn't want to come with me, so Wednesday I started looking
thru the properties around this area again (even though I've gone
through them a billion trillion times and they *don't* have what we
need).  So anywaysies, I twere going thru the listings, and all of
a sudden this house pops up.  Now, believe me, this house had not
been there before because I've been a lookin' and a lookin' and you
can't get nothing like this round these here parts (and when I say *I*
what I actually mean is *we* as in me and Geo the Great).  This
house is on 15 acres, has a pond and two streams, an orchard, wild
turkey and deer roaming the hills around it, a large garden plot and a
well…. all in the price range we were looking for.  So we put an
offer in and the owners said, “okey dokies”.

Is that weird or what?  wanna see a picture of it?  ok, here you go:

See that little boat behind the dock? Can you believe that?  Is
that the best place in the whole big world or WHAT?  So, if we can
get the loan we need at the rate we need (which is actually quite
unlikely) then *that* my friends, is the new House of Igarashi.

That looks cool! Congrats! But what’s up with that square lake? Aren’t lakes supposed to be like a raggedy round shape? Who ever heard of a square lake? Too bad it doesnt freeze in TN, that looks like a great lake for ice skating!

    How beautiful!

That is gorgeous! Oh, a nice big "biscuit" floating around out there on the lake with some sort of a cool drink (with cumin in it, of course). Hey, wait a minute…how come the leaves are still on the trees? Is this for real?? Seriously, what a view. As my DH would say, "It's too beautfiul, I'd never want to leave." Merry Christmas….won't this make a terriifc end to the year and a grand start to 2006!

Wow Jen, that is great!!! :0) Imagine having 15 acres, then you could have a whole herdeo or majical white deer/goat thingies!! :0) I can picture it now…..the new thing in homesteading!! ;0) On a more serious note, I wanted to ask….was the picture taken recently? I live in New England and the grass is all under the white snow, the leaves are off the trees, and the ponds are covered in ice.

    I'll be praying!

Jen, I really hope that it all works out … then I’ll have a place to send my kids for “summer camp” … I mean, you already have 6 kids, what’s 2 more, right?? And think of all of the education they will be receiving while living on your commune for the summer? I can even count that as school! … snicker, snort … a;dfjdlkfjfkaja

    See you tonight!

    WOW!

LOVE it!… Now that offer still stands from Gena’s blog about coming out there and staying at your house right? I mean, she offered it to anyone for a week… all we have to do is bring a porta potty… or did I misunderstand something?

I’d love 15 ares…but we’re looking to start with about 3-4, I hope. See what’s available when our house sells…once we put it on the market…once my husband puts in a kitchen floor. Ooh, the kitchen floor. Don’t get me started on that…
