Gena is such a show off.
She is now giving away the book
like popcorn balls. So in order to upstage
her, me and my friend Josh from One2Believe have collaborated on a brand new
contest that you AND your kids will love even better than an orange book.
Josh is looking for TEN reviewers to blog about their
Messengers of Faith dolls. Check them
out here: He will mail you the doll for free (they are
normally $25) and it will become yours to keep. Reviewers must agree to blog about the doll
and also agree to let Josh use your review on his website or in their marketing
materials. The Old Schoolhouse Magazine
did a review a while back, it can be read here
So, who wants a very cool Bible doll for their family? hmmm? Sign up below…
And take note that Gena doesn't have any cool bible dolls that SHE's giving away.
How do yeh like THEM apples?
PS EnergyFree
should win tickets to a Barry Manilow concert from her last comment on
my page. That is one funny lady. Good golly you people get
funnier every day

Doll review
Well, I have two boys at home, so I'm not sure about this, but I do teach the 1-2 year old class at Church so would be able to 'review' the doll with them and see how it goes over. That is, if I get the chance to review one. Thanks!

Doills & Barry Manilow
Well my 14yo daughter is past the doll phase, so I’ll pass on that…sounds cool though!
BUT…..I WANT TICKETS TO A BARRY MANILOW CONCERT!!!
It has been my lifelong dream to see that man in concert! I know Jen…if you were right by me you would slap me silly, huh?

Looks like you’re pretty close to ten, but I would love to blog on this doll. I have 3 girls, ages 5, 7, and 11 so it would get plenty of love. 🙂 I write for the ChoosingHome group blog.

Ok, I'm not greedy…
REALLY, I just thought IF by chance you don’t have the 10 people for the dolls, then I would help you out. My son was just looking at the David one on their website yesterday wondering if his “rock could really hurt someone”, such a boy!!!

Hey, we’ll just keep entering contests until we win one. Okay, we probably won’t stop then. But we would love to reveiw a doll. (Exactly how one “reveiws” a doll remains to be seen, but we’d try our hardest!)
I love the sibling rivalry!

Me! Me! mumumuME! Don’t pick Lydia, pick MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Lydia doesn’t need dolls–her girls are terrible, they’ll just pick the dolls apart, fight over the clothes, and give them to the puppy to teeth on. MY girls, on the other hand, are prim, proper, and really really sweet. In between their knitting lessons and their calligraphy excercises, they will lovingly play tea parties with the dolls and talk demurely about things in the Elsie Dinsmore series.
Btw, we will add a new catagory to our Valentine’s Day contest just for you, after reading your (very offensive) last post. It will be something like, “Get’s Best Present from Husband Even Though Attitude Towards Valentines Day [My FAVORITE Holiday, thank you very much] is Poor” award. I even will send you some Alaskan moose truffles if you win.
Btw, my girls are 7 and 5, and are prodigy’s. My 7 year old will even write the review, which will then be published on our blog. Lydia’s 7 year old could never do that. Because my 7 year old is better.

I love free things
As long as it isn’t a broken doll… I’ll sign up for the drawing! I love drawings and prizes!
And Energy Free’s post WAS hilarious!
If we are all getting funnier… maybe YOU are rubbing off on us. That is why we are so hopelessly addicted to your blog and Gena cannot even lull us into promising NOT to read your blog with promises of free books!

I’d rather review the strawberries, thanks. The dolls are a little scary or maybe its just that I’m too sick to see them in a proper light. aslkfjdljsgflk
Our anniversary is the day after Valentines Day, otherwise there would be no mention of it in my house either, well, considering I have 4 boys who think its a sissy sort of thing….

Jen,
DD(4), DS(7) and DS(9) would love to help write a review of a Bible Character. Do they really quote scripture? How cool! My kids are Bible quizzers would make those Bible Characters really “walk and talk!” Step aside Barbie and GIJoe!
We will also review the popcorn balls, chocolate dipped strawberries (DH and I are celebrating 12 years also!) . . . and we like dem’ apples!
Thanks for the contest,

DaisyChain?? posted something about getting a learning calander. I can’t find info on that. Can some please comment on my blog or email me about it? Thanks.

I know I know
I am probably too late, as always, but I would love to give one of these dolls a home. Now, email with the direct instructions of how I can find more time to blog so instead of trying to sell our howm, so I can win one these stinking contests. LOL~
on February 9th, 2006 at 8:39 pm
Boltbabe, you forgot that verse that says
“The last shall be first.” Now, Jen, doesn’t that mean that since the 2 of us were, well, you could say, rather late in the day to respond, that we should be the first to be picked??? I just figure that if I keep trying long enough, that I’ll eventually win one of these JenIgRigged contests…
Seriously, I would love to review one of these. My granddaughter comes to my house and is always complaining that there are no dolls to play with here. Her mom and aunt took all theirs with them when they grew up and moved out. So I would have an expert helper for the review, and also something neat for her to look forward to playing with when her mom and her come to visit (or when I kidnap her and bring her home with me)!

would love to review the doll- you should see what they do to the cat. The cat really wants you to send my girls a doll. My 8yy can write the review. I promise to spell check!

But I know I’m way past the tenth entry. LOL!!

Double Phooey!!!
Double and triple phooey! First I see I’ve missed out on the chance to win a great book from Genarous Gena … and now I discover someone *is* once again making Biblically inspired dolls, but I can’t get one of those either.
My daughter has a “Ruth” doll that was produced years ago but unfortunately it’s just a Barbie-doll body in Biblical garb. Still a bit too anatomically correct for my liking. ::eek::
I wanna dolly, too!!!!! Waaaah!!!!
