Yesterday Ryann
had a fun birthday party. Today is her actual birthday and I cannot
believe she is 12 now. That is so sad. She is such a
lovely, godly young lady. I hope she always longs to obey God and
serve her family. It is a real treat to be her momsie.
Maria was
kind enough to give up her two oldest daughters for the day so they
could come over and play; and she was also kind enough to let her
husband, Joe, come over and play with Geoff and Kris's husband Jim.
They left for a little while and then brought home a MULE. Don't
ask me, I have no idea. Men = Weirdos.
And on another note…it appears Kris Price wants me to kill her dead.
In my defense, I would like to say that those pictures she took have
been professionally doctored. I shant ever allow her over to my
house with a camera again.

Oh the fun day my family had. I am hearing about the potatoe gun and the cool pond and the boat. My family had a ball. I’m not sure what to do with the mukle you sent them home with but they seem to be excited about that too. Is that a souvenir. Your out of puppies so now your giving away mules? Do I get a free subscription for a friend with it………kdhfasdkhasdjhfasdhakfashdfk
I’ll post about the neato mule later.
When you come over I’ll send your family home with a prize too! sdasjhfkjashdfjhgkjhgk

Potato Cannons
Here is a website to check out for info on building potato cannons.
http://www.familymanweb.com/pcanon.htm …. my advice is to use the cheapest hairspray you can find for use as the propellant.
have fun!

I see that we both have the red and white checkered Betty Crocker cookbook in our homes! It was fun getting a peek into your kitchen!

Wanted to tell you too that I got that Messenger of Faith doll, and my review is up… http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/JeninNB/90529/

The Chinese stuff you posted was SO stinkin hilarious!!!
And your music is groovy.
Tell little Coie there to get a part-time job with an airline and you and Geo can have pass privileges as well. 🙂 Now THAT sounds like a plan, don’t ya think? Because we would certainly never pay real money to travel…tis way too expensivo. Now if we can just figure out a way for someone else to pay for hotels and rental cars then we’d really be set!
By the way, love your new pic…quite lovely indeed, m’dear.
Love,
Marshie who is very glad to be home!

Emily's Surgery…
Stopping by again to ask if you would please spread the word about Emily’s surgery Tuesday morning? I have a prayer list on my blog for anyone who would like to take a specific time to pray as well.
Thanks,
Amy

Hmmm… okay, we see a bunch of guys doing some really cool-looking thing on the same blog post with a pregnant “dieter” who apparently is sneaking cheezies and gaining pounds, and it’s the MEN who are weirdos? Like I always say… men and women — same planet, different worlds.
We gotta get those guys up to Cleveland and do some REAL cool stuff! My sons got that “Backyard Ballistics” book and we’re planning on making a trebuchet that launch pumpkins and watermelons 200 feet! Now THAT would be cool!

I like the new color and picture! But at Amber so clearly pointed out, I think I must have a thing for green.

backyard ballistics? right up my alley!
I can’t believe we’re sharing info on potato guns on a homeschool blog! Too funny!
Speaking of funny guns, dh said to share a link with you all called Cows with Guns. Full of puns … and I’m not done … getting out of hand, I know. Anyway, great story of a cow coup but I have to warn you of the line about relieving themselves on their captors — watch it first to see if it’s okay for the kids. Ours is used to animal ways, and was fine with it. Let’s see … link to http://www.cowswithguns.com to see it and hear it. You know, we could add a verse about the mule …
Country humor can be odd, as we generally see with Jen’s blog. ; ) But we love it — that’s why we keep coming back, right?
